Hello! My name is Kaylee Metzler. I am a Registered Nurse and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) with experience in mother-baby and labor and delivery. As a mother of two, both of whom I have breastfed, I understand the challenges and joys of breastfeeding. My own struggles with feeding my first baby empowered me to obtain my IBCLC certification, so that I could help other mothers overcome their own breastfeeding challenges.
At The Milky Way Lactation, we provide lactation consulting services to mothers in need of support and guidance in their breastfeeding journeys. We believe that every mother and baby deserves individualized care and attention, and we work closely with our clients to develop a personalized care plan to meet their specific needs.
My Philosophy
I believe that breastfeeding is a natural and beautiful part of motherhood, but we also recognize that it can be challenging and overwhelming at times. My approach to lactation consulting is grounded in evidence-based practices and compassionate care.

I am here to support and empower mothers throughout their breastfeeding journeys, and am dedicated to making the process as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
